During our Tudor travels, we have found that people are endlessly fascinated by our attire. The costume of a Tudor lady of high rank comprises of several different layers, each one coming together to make the final, eyecatching result. Often, we found ourselves explaining the purpose and make-up of these different layers, and giving people an impromtu glimpse of just what does lie ‘under a lady’s skirts’.

181224_471114516301388_1494629127_nIt was as a result of this interest, and our own passion for the fashion of the early Tudor court, that we created an hour long talk in which Anne Boleyn is dressed for the day by her lady-in-waiting. This entertaining and informative peak inside the raying chamber of a high status Tudor noblewoman, reveals the secrets of a lady’s wardrobe of the Henrican court, circa 1535.

This talk can be given by special arrangment. Please contact us via our ‘Contact’ page for further information.
